The Drogon Filestore

The DSF is a modular system providing network attached storage devices to the SME.

Capacities start at 120GB of usable space right up to multiple TeraBytes and there are backup and archive options available. You can even arrange backups overnight through your Internet connection to secure servers hosted by Drogon Systems. (There is a limit to the amount of data you can send down an office ADSL line, but we will be more than willing to provide advice on your data storage, backup and archive needs)

All servers feature multiple disks in a mirrored or RAID configuration for redundancy.

The smaller units are energy efficient too - they can consume as little as 30W when in-use, and under 10W in standby mode where the disks can be arranged to shut-down automatically after a period of inactivity - typically 2 hours, so overnight, weekends and public holidays when there is no-one in the office and little or no need for them to be running. The disks will spin-up automatically when data is required.
